Don't let the plant sit in the water
Plants need light- low light does not mean any light- low light means average lighting from a living room, bedroom, or bathroom type situation.
If you are unsure look up other’s experiences before attempting to better understand.
Plants need food just like us humans plant food is essential for thriving conditions.
For general plant care, plants require an upkeep and this then becomes a pattern or schedule on what works best for you that's how plants thrive with a good schedule and maintenance.
When you receive a plant from our shop you will receive a plant that has been watered, fertilized, and fed making it easier for acclimating to a new home some plants will require more care than others and those are usually marked to better help our consumers.
When your plant arrives at your home you will want to set it in its best conditions this could be from low light, bright indirect, or direct sun.
Light Care Guide:
Low light: Average lighting in living room, bedroom, bathroom
bright indirect light: This lighting can be like your windowsill, an area with a grow light, or a bright room filled with light.
filtered bright light: an outside source light with a long period of bright light that is covered with a shady area ideal for begonias and alocasias for example.
direct light: These are your sun-loving plants like dracaenas, tradescatias, and some hoyas to name a few.
Watering Care Guide:
Light watering: A light spray of water that covers the topsoil
Moist: Continuous likes to be lightly watered but not damped
Damped: Keep substrate watered these are usually bog-type plants like carnivorous plants.
Common Questions usually asked:
⦁ What happens if I overwater my plants
This has happened to us all the best thing to remember is continuous airflow and humidity and brighter light may help alleviate the substrate to an outdoor area that receives these conditions may help those without equipment like a grow tent.
⦁ How do I know I have fully watered my plant?
When your plant needs a full watering seeing the water drip out of the planter is one of the signs, Also the heavier the planter the more water it is retaining.
Fertilizing care guide:
Fertilizing may be a confusing part of plant care for those starting out We recommend an all-purpose fertilizer that generally covers the basic needs of the plant.
Fertilizing brands we recommend:
TPS One: A liquid fertilizer in one great source of calcium and magnesium that comes with microbes as well. Showing robust growth
Osmocote: Instead of liquid and keeping a schedule, these are granules that use a portion when repotting so the next time you have to use it again is when repotting 6 months later
